Enter the number of feet and inches in the form F.II. The result in metres will be displayed, and the sum (∑) of your previous answers will also be displayed.
Examples:

Enter 0 to reset the total back to zero.
Important
When the number of inches is less than 10, be sure to include a leading zero. For example 6 inches should be entered as .06.
If you forget, the calculator will sometimes correct this for you (such as when the number of inches is clearly above 12), but if you enter one inch as 0.1 it will assume you meant 10 inches, not 1.
Also
Do NOT use the + or - buttons to perform inches arithmetic like .06+.06 as it will perform the addition prior to being converted from inches into metres and give you the wrong result!
